Aircraft

The Costa Blanca Flyers are a group of flying enthusiasts who have a passion for all forms of flight, no matter how fast or slow. Here are some of our aircraft, or aircraft we want...

Walkerjet Superhawk Paramotor and Powerplay Sting Paraglider

This model has the old but very popular and well tested Solo210 motor, which is a 210cc single cylinder two stroke. It produces about 14hp and with the 115cm wooden propeller that's fitted to this model gives just under 50kg of thrust. With the correct size wing this enough thrust to get a pilot of up to 100kg airborne. The fuel tank holds 8 litres of unleaded fuel, which depending on the flying conditions is enough for about 2 hours of flying. The wing can be flown with or without power and will fly at about 30 to 50 kph in still air depending on the trim settings.

X'air (Jabiru)

Fun and rugged 3-axis microlight with 85hp Jabiru motor. Normal cruise speed is about 60mph.

Mainair Flash 2 Alpha

Popular training weight shift microlight with good all round performance and a cruise speed of about 55mph.

Kiss

Nice comfortable weight shift microlight with good all round performance and a cruise speed of about 55mph.

Quicksilver MXII

This is a slow 2-axis machine with great visibility and a cruise speed of about 45mph.

Polaris FIB (Flying Inflatable Boat)

This has got to be the ultimate flying toy for us on the Costa Blanca. No problems with finding a runway with the Mediterranean on your door step, and finding an emergency landing spot is easy too.

This aircraft isn't legal here in Spain at the moment but we are hoping that will change some time in the near future because we want one! Go to www.polarismotor.it for more information.

Ramphos Amphibious Trike

This is another great aircraft for us on the Costa Blanca. Similar to the Polaris FIB but with a completely solid hull and retractable wheels for land use.

This aircraft isn't legal here in Spain at the moment but we are hoping that will change some time in the near future because we want one! Go to www.ramphos.com  for more information.

Microleve Corsario MK-IV

This looks like another great aircraft for us on the Costa Blanca. Amphibious fixed wing 3 axis microlight that we know nothing about other than what we have found on the Internet.

Go to www.microleve.com.br  for more information.

Aerochute Powered Parachute

Aerochute Dual is a two seater powered parachute designed specifically with safety and ease of operation in mind. It is designed to be virtually stall and spin resistant, in the case of an engine failure it simply lands safely as a parachute would. The engine is a Rotax 503 two stroke. It puts out 52hp. and is used with a 3 or 4 blade propeller. The fuel capacity is 29L which can give up to two hours flight time.
